The illustrated history of dentistry is an excellent book. As a dentist,
I find that it gives a wonderful overview of dentistry from all periods of
time. It's a great resource for all dental students or dentists to provide
patients with interesting tidbits about how dentistry has evolved and how
things have changed for the better! --This text

This is the first illustrated history of dentistry in English to have
been published in the past 60 years. It is the ONLY book on dentistry ever
reviewed in the New York Times. It has now been translated into Spanish,
Italian, German and Japanese and is selling all over the world. It makes a
perfect gift for a student of dentistry, a practicing dentist and especially
as a retirement gift.
